Allison was so helpful in finding the best care for my mom. She’s very knowledgeable on all the options available and really helped guide us to the best fit for our family. Allison also saved the day in getting me the right contacts for some specific questions I had. I recommend Allison to anyone that is dealing with moving a loved one into assisted living. Realizing it’s time to move an ageing parent to memory care is a lot to process. It’s overwhelming determining where to even begin. An introduction to Allison was an absolute game changer. She understood the emotions & anxiety that comes with navigating next steps. Allison asked questions & patiently took in my dad’s background and needs. She was able to identify great options that would provide the care and location we desired. Her knowledge of elder care facilities was extremely helpful and reassuring. She offered honest insight into each place and accompanied me on tours. It was really hard to acknowledge it was time to transition my dad from our family home -  where he raised us - to memory care. Allison was supportive, kind and available throughout each step. She is well connected with senior care residences and respected among the employees and leadership teams. Allison at Assisted Living Locators is very knowledgeable with Senior assisted living. What's available- what could be available- and what to expect from the different locations. Took us about a year to make the transition,  but she kept in touch while we did our own research and  got our family member ready. Allison is truly extraordinary. She helped my family navigate assisted living placement for two of our loved ones during an incredibly stressful and emotional time. What felt overwhelming and frightening became manageable and clear because of her guidance. Allison took care of everything for us! She worked directly with the health care places and our insurance, and there was no cost to our family. More importantly, she only partners with high-quality facilities, and both of our family members are genuinely happy where they are living now. That peace of mind is priceless. Allison went far beyond placement support. When we were scared and dealing with hospital situations, she stepped in, solved problems, and helped us avoid so many healthcare system obstacles we would never have known how to manage on our own. I truly felt like I trusted her with my family’s lives, and she honored that trust at every step. She is kind, patient, deeply knowledgeable, and has an incredible ability to connect with elderly individuals. She helped loved ones who were resistant to moving feel comfortable, understood, and even excited about their new homes. Allison Green did a wonderful job helping our family research and select a senior living facility in the Chicago area that best met the unique needs of a family member. Allison has comprehensive knowledge of the wide variety of senior living options in Chicago, and she was able to suggest a short list of options for us to consider, and arrange for visits. Allison is easy to work with and she did not shy away from providing us with candid feedback about the potential fit offered by each facility. I was delighted to tap into Allison’s excellent network of resources who have also helped our family. She connected us with a psychologist who does comprehensive neuro-cognitive assessments and makes house calls. I "found" Allison (or she "found" me) in December 2024 after submitting a senior care consultation request via seniorly.com. She spent over 90-minutes during our initial call to understand my mother's evolving care situation. In February 2025, I reached out to her to perform assisted living (AL) facility research in the Chicago NW suburbs meeting several requirements. Allison presented several options and one that was a clear "winner". We're currently in process to move "Mom" to that location.
